2.3. Example project (C#)

The sample C# solution ThriftApiCsharp has a project named ThriftApiCsharp which is configured to generate the language bindings. This means it has the following pre-build command set:

$(SolutionDir)..\..\Libs\Thrift/bin/thrift.exe -r -o "$(ProjectDir)ThriftGenerated" --gen csharp $(SolutionDir)..\..\Turret\Tip\Api\Thrift\TurretApi.thrift

This uses the supplied Thrift executable to generate the C# language binding to the ThriftApiCsharp/ThriftGenerated folder from the interface definition file.

The ThriftDemo project contains a basic GUI application showing how can one connect and communicate with the turret.
